I love this fryer. For someone who avoid cooking because of the spattering oil, this appliance is perfect for you! For someone who is on a diet, this is for you. Really you almost don't need any oil, 1 tbsp at the most. Kids and cooking newbies can use this too! It could do with a larger compartment though, and also higher quality mesh and plastic body parts (breaks easily if dropped).

Had bought it as im a great fans of fried foods, hence i try it out and it tastes better than actual food that were fried with oils. Now i could enjoy my favourite without feeling much guilty! haha..

I've been cooking with the Philips Viva Collection Airfryer HD9220 for over two years and feature it regularly on my cooking blog. I have a family of four and I prepare a lot of home-cooked food as we're on a budget. When my husband got the airfryer for me as a Valentine's day gift, I was excited but wasn't sure if I would use it frequently as I was used to doing quick stir-fries and using the oven. Now I can't do without it! On the first day, I remember airfrying potatoes, fries and frozen pre-fried food, all without oil! I was floored by the results. By the second day, I was looking up recipes on preparing fresh meals using the airfryer with "real" ingredients, and my favourite things to cook in the airfryer now are chicken wings, salmon and saba fish. I have also made airfried crab cakes, Hainanese pork chop, cheese baked rice, grilled eggplant, spinach balls, airfried fish (bee hoon), Chinese New Year cookies and crab sticks, all with little effort. I also use it to heat up food. The airfryer is truly easy to use. My two aunts, who are 75 and 79 years old this year, use the airfryer daily to toast bread and prepare simple meals. If they can learn how to use it, so can anyone! My honest testimonial? The Philips Airfryer is probably one of the best kitchen inventions ever. I was an advocate wayy before I starting my cooking blog. I only hope I have one in a bigger size! If you have not gotten it yet, I hope you decide to get it- it will be the best kitchen decision you'll make!

My mum and I saw the airfryer at Courts and we were contemplating to buy it or not. Since the promoter was quite friendly and we thought it could ease my grandma's cooking load, so we decided to purchase one. And yes, it did meet our expectation :) Furthermore, I really like eating potatoes (wedges or fries) but it's a chore to prepare it. Airfryer really made everything much easier, no more cleaning the oily countertop and woks ^^

User friendly – just need to set the temperature and the duration to air fry the food! Nuggets and fries all very crispy and less oily! Thanks to Philips Air Fryer! My wife and I could crispy fried food and yet healthier! Less smell and less oily in the kitchen. I don’t have to spend much time to clean the kitchen! It is very easy to clean as well. Usually I soak the food basket in water for half an hour and then just gently scrub it. Philips Air Fryer is an excellent choice!

marvellously excellent product! never have I bought a product that lives up to its claim. Less fat! So easy to use! Most of all, a good product for family gatherings! It's finger-licking good.....definitely will recommend to anyone who has never try this product!

This is an amazing invention! I resisted all the fried food because of the cleaning that I had to go through as well as the food is too oily and bad for health..... until I was introduced Philips Air Fryer 1 year ago! It is very easy to operate the air fryer. I did not need to spend time monitoring the food as I got the combination of the timing and heat temperature well. I can prepare other food after I activate the air fryer to fry the food! Just need to set the desired temperature to warm up the air fryer before using it. Then set the timer to fry the food! It is very easy to use! Less oily in the kitchen, less oily from the food (eat healthier!) I also cut down from buying fried food outside (which can save more money) - more economical. My mother is also amazed by the power of Philips Air Fryer! Try it! You will love it, too!

love this air fryer especially in making cooking food easier... especially roast pork... the taste is awesome ... and importantly less cleaning to be done compare to using a conventional oven. used it to fry my favourite keropok is so easy and avoid wastage of oil..... frying delicious nian gao is another easy job. love this product.. wish I could get the XL with bigger volume so I can bake a bigger piece of roast pork to share with family and friends :):)

I got the airfryer as a housewarming gift from my brother, and have been totally happy with it since. I use it a lot to cook frozen food for quick dinners, e.g. fish fingers, chicken nuggets, fries and fishballs etc, and they all turn out crispy and tasty in under 15 minutes. I especially love the way the fishballs turn out - crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Best part is, the oil in the food drips out from the food and we get healthier fare. For someone with almost non-existent cooking skills like me, this appliance is a godsend.
